His courtship of Emma Hale? “Turn Your Lights Down Low.”

Montage of translating and printing the Book of Mormon? “Stir It Up.”

Restoration of the Melchizedek Priesthood by Peter, James, and John? “Three Little Birds.”

Gathering Zion together in Kirtland and Independence? “One Love.”

Attack of the Missouri mobs? “Burnin and Lootin.”

Resisting the mobs? “Get Up, Stand Up.”

The Missouri Extermination Order and escape to Illinois? “Exodus.”

Emma worrying for her husband in prison? “No Woman No Cry.”

Joseph Smith escaping from Liberty Jail, and “running like a fugitive”? “Iron Lion Zion.”

Increase of tensions in Nauvoo? “So Much Trouble In The World.”

The Martyrdom? “Redemption Song.”

The Saints crossing the Plains for the West? “I Know a Place.”

Am I missing key scenes? Of course. But is there a Bob Marley song that would match it? Undoubtedly.

And would such a union help clarify the prophetic traditions of both Rastafarianism and Mormonism? I would argue that yes.
