This site has advocated before for a Weird Al approach to Mormon letters (not to mention a Borgesian approach), and now seems like exactly the time of year to remind ourselves the same. Since we are, after all, essaying to be Latter-day Saints, such argues that we should be looking forward to our latter end—exactly as Weird Al has done here on “Christmas at Ground Zero”—and that joyfully, for if we are prepared we shall not fear!
